The venture would need alignment across diverse parts of the organisation, across geographies and business lines. We partnered with the executive to gain customer insights, build alignment for a 3 year vision, develop shared goals and collaboratively turn the strategy into an action plan.
SUPPLY NETWORK TRANSFORMATION
A global retailer of consumer goods looked to simplify and streamline their supply network across the Asia Pacific region. The project involved a transformation of supply sources, technology and transport routes to markets in North America and Europe. Working on the ground with the client, we used Lean methods to rapidly outline the efficiencies to be gained by the transformation. A resulting consolidation across the business resulted in working capital reduction and transport cost savings 10% above target.
Often ignored until they become a business bottleneck, back office processes and support functions underpin an organisation’s agility. We worked with our clients in Government to map their end-to-end recruitment and procurement processes, identify quick wins and Kaizen events and deliver tangible improvements in lead times.
LEAN CAPABILITY TRAINING
We believe that truly sustainable change must be led by the people creating value for their customers. We partnered with a major Government department to identify and train key personnel in Lean techniques - so the client could continue the improvement process after we transitioned out. Training modules delivered include Lean awareness, problem solving, standardised work, value stream mapping and 5S.
